《山海之机巧蒜泥》是一部集玄幻、喜剧、爱情、幽默多重元素为一体的多元化电影，故事取材自山海神话架空的玄幻世界。电影讲述了少年蒜泥虽身为妖却没有一丝妖力，立志带着全村过上好日子的他踏上了寻找妖力的旅程。在旅途中，他结识了女扮男装失败的“少侠”若水，一人一妖打打闹闹，经历一系列趣事后终于来到了梦寐以求的青州城。蒜泥的妖力、若水的身世、同行伙伴的真实目的逐渐浮出水面……。四位园艺俱乐部会员的生活被丑闻、恶作剧和一个共同的秘密交织在一起——一桩无人愿意提起的谋杀案。。The first of a new experimental series in which Stephen Fry will be played by Hugh Laurie and Hugh Laurie will be played by Stephen Fry.
