歌舞伎世家音羽屋第六代传人尾上菊之助苦恼万分，父亲菊五郎对他的演艺功底大为不满，耻于称其为自己的传人，师兄弟和观众们也对他的评价颇差。然而这些人又都当面奉承，虚情假意。周围只有女佣阿德敢于当面指出菊之助的不足，并真心希望他的表演能不断精进。阿德的诚实令菊之助大为感动，心中视其为难得的知己。。陆心兰因曾经救下季霆州的爷爷季凌天一命，受爷爷喜爱，促使季霆州与陆心兰成婚，婚姻有名无实，不受季母看好，在季母不断挑拨离间下，季霆州十分厌恶陆心兰，陆心兰被家里变相逼着不断向季霆州讨钱，季霆州忍无可忍要休掉陆心兰，两人却发生车祸，灵魂互换。。Riley, Maya, Lucas, and Farkle head to High School.
