该剧为《秘密森林》的衍生剧，以人气角色徐东载为中心展开，讲述由于过去赞助检察官的不正当行为，未来一片漆黑的清州地方检察厅检察官徐东载，因再开发事件而头疼不已时，随着负责女高中生杀人事件，作为检察官的直觉和机会主义者的本能，开始铤而走险的故事。。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’. Everything seems perfect until the French Captain returns.。
