五年前，苏筱涵与萧墨两人相爱，学校却里传出萧墨与大明星顾菁订婚的谣言。苏筱涵与萧墨并未表心音，加上“证据确凿”的谣言，苏筱涵毅然离开，5年内毫无音讯。苏筱涵本是设计专业的学生，去了法国以后，开始学习深造，这5年也获得了不少的奖项。最近一个自称是老许的人找到苏筱涵，给她提供了一次参加BRD珠宝设计大赛的机会。
苏筱涵从法国回来，来到茗钻坊珠宝公司以后，发现公司老板正是萧墨，而当年的师妹禹萌萌、师弟元昊也在茗钻坊公司。当年苏筱涵离开后，萧墨尝试过寻找苏筱涵，可是并没有结果。因为当年的一个承诺，萧墨开办了茗钻坊珠宝设计公司，而苏筱涵此番回国，也是萧墨和元昊的计划。苏筱涵心存芥蒂，表示自己回国只是为了BRD大赛。萧墨也决定把复合计划从长计议。。Breeders Season 3 starts with Paul having moved out and staying at Leah’s house.
