At first, these opposites do not attract, but feelings begin to change when they find themselves having to work side-by-side to restore their newly acquired home.。这是根据一宗真实的新闻事件改编而成。描述穷盗犯克鲁的妻子鲁琴，因为不愤社会福利机构把他们的孩子强行送给别人收养，乃以探监为名，协助其夫逃狱，并以一名警员为人质，开着长途汽车去寻子。警方投鼠忌器，不但无法逮捕克鲁与鲁琴两夫妇，还派出庞大车队沿途护送。。
